About Strong Stride

Strong Stride was born from a place many horse owners know all too well: searching endlessly for answers and coming up empty-handed.

The journey began with my mare, Carmelita. For years, she struggled with poor condition, digestive issues, and general wellbeing. Despite countless vet visits, trying every supplement on the market, and investing significant time and money, nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. She battled to gain weight, struggled with her anxiety, and simply didn’t look or feel her best. It was heartbreaking, and frustrating, to do everything ‘right’ and still not see results.

Determined to find a real solution, I turned to science.

I partnered with animal scientist Allan Pennel of SimpleGrow Agric Services, a specialist in animal nutrition. Together, we sat down with one clear goal: to formulate a supplement that genuinely supported digestive function and gut health, rather than masking symptoms. We carefully selected ingredients, tested ideas, and focused on creating something effective, practical, and safe for long-term use.

At the same time, muscle development and conditioning became other key focus areas. Carmelita struggled to build and maintain muscle, and I wanted to offer targeted muscle support to my front-runner, Bon Vie. This naturally led to the development of a second formula designed to support muscle tone, strength, and recovery.

As the products were trialled, the results spoke for themselves. Carmelita’s condition improved and she began to look and feel like the horse I always knew she could be. At the same time, Bon Vie got stronger and recovered better, allowing him to perform consistently at a high level. The changes weren’t just visible, they were sustainable. That’s when I realised this wasn’t just a personal solution, it was something other horse owners needed too.

From there, Strong Stride was officially born.

We committed to doing things properly from the start, embarking on the rigorous Act 36 registration process. This involved extensive audits, documentation, and strict regulatory compliance - a lengthy but vital step to ensure quality, transparency, and trust. Today, our products are Act 36 registered, reflecting our commitment to science-backed formulation and industry standards.
